ABOUT US

Keith McIntosh. ACII,FCILA ,FUEDI-ELAE is the founder of  Chaparral Consult. He has  over 35 years experience as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor,(FRICS now retired) attained principally on a wide range of Building and Civil Engineering projects.   He has  been involved in all aspects of construction  projects including feasibility studies, consultant and design management, preparation of contract documents, contract administration and the formulation and settlement of construction claims.

 

Keith qualified as a loss adjuster in 1997 and worked for an international  claim  management company  in Kuwait  and the  wider GCC area handling a variety of insurance claims.  These included Property, Construction, Oil and Petrochemical Works, Business Interruption, Professional and Public liability claims.  In  2020  he relocated to Spain  and established Chaparral Consult    in order to provide an independent  and professional loss assessing  company servicing  the need for  insurance claim assistance  by  policyholders   principally throughout the Costa Blanca  area. In 2021   Keith    was involved with  several   commercial  Business Interruption claims  arising from  the Covid-19 pandemiic

Keith is a   a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters  as well as the  Chartered  Insurance  Institute.  and also holds the FUEDI-ELAE  certification  of The Federation of European Loss Adjusting Experts

We spend many hours in meetings and discussions with our clients and the representatives of the insurance company, ultimately presenting and negotiating a more than satisfactory settlement.

 

 

No settlement - no fee


With regard to fees, they are based on genuine no settlement - no fee terms, with the amount being an agreed percentage of the eventual claim settlement. Other than some claims where substantial interim payments are received, our invoice only becomes due after the claim is finalised to your entire satisfaction. We are always the last to be paid.
